Payment & Refund Policy

Effective date: December 2025

1. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by PayPal, our authorized payment processor. We accept major credit/debit cards and PayPal balances. All transactions are encrypted and PCI-compliant. We do not store your payment card information.

2. Audio Transcription Service Billing

2.1 Free Trial

New users receive 20 minutes of free transcription. No credit card required. Limited to one trial per person or organization.

2.2 Monthly Subscription

• Price: $20 USD per month
• Includes: 50 hours of audio transcription
• Billing: Charged monthly on your signup anniversary date
• Renewal: Auto-renews until canceled
• Unused hours: Do not roll over to the next month

2.3 Pay-As-You-Go

• Price: $2 USD per hour of audio transcribed
• Billing: Charged per minute ($0.0333/minute, rounded to nearest minute)
• Credits: Never expire
• Minimum purchase: 1 hour ($2)

3. Production Services Billing

Custom production services are billed per milestone or monthly, as defined in your project scope. Payment is due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments (overdue by more than 14 days) may result in paused work.

4. Refunds

4.1 Audio Transcription Service

• Monthly subscription: Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase if you have not used any transcription time in the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
• Pay-as-you-go credits: No refunds for purchased credits, but credits never expire.
• Free trial: No refunds applicable (free service).
• Service issues: If a transcription fails due to our technical error, we will re-process at no charge or credit your account for the failed transaction.

4.2 Production Services

• Before work begins: Full refund of any deposit if you cancel before we start.
• During a project: No refund for completed milestones. Partial refund may be considered for unused prepaid hours at our discretion.
• After delivery: No refunds once deliverables are approved and handed off.

5. Cancellations

5.1 Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to your remaining hours until the period ends.

5.2 Account Closure

If you close your account, any unused pay-as-you-go credits will be forfeited (though credits otherwise never expire). Your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

6. Failed Payments

If a subscription renewal payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge. After multiple failed attempts, your subscription will be canceled and you will lose access to the service. You may resubscribe at any time.

7. Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us at eli@elipodcastproductions.com within 7 days of the charge. We will review and respond promptly. Please contact us before initiating a chargeback; chargebacks may result in account suspension.

8. Currency

All prices are quoted and billed in USD unless otherwise specified. Your bank may apply currency conversion fees.

9. Taxes

Prices do not include applicable taxes. Sales tax, VAT, or other taxes may be added based on your location as required by law.

10. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change pricing. Active subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price change affects their subscription. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
